This was a new experience. I knew I needed to be more efficient at creating. So I prayed and with all my art work being are a form of praise and worship, each time I sat to paint, time disappeared. Yet I finished it quicker than any other piece. Once this was done I asked myselfhow'd you do that? I didn't, He did!

Title or Location: Forest thru the trees
I use a wet on wet technique for my forests because it creates wonderful paradolia that I than in turn expand upon. I dip various fabrics like old socks and tissue paper in various random patterns until something appears. I named this particular piece Forest thru the trees because like in the age old saying You can't see the forest thru the Trees, ".... sometimes you have to really look between the lines to see what's going on.. The creative process inspired byBob Ross and his episode Golden Ray

Thank uou for your interest. I am a native American and a disable veteran USMC. Currently this is about my 18th piece of art (acrylic, oil, watercolor, pyrography) that I have finished since my healing and deliverance from deep clinical depression , panic, and suicidal ideation tendencies and drug addiction. I hadn't completed any art for about 20 years, when me and my wife were married. I had helped our son on a school project and she noticed I could draw. (Being a Artist was a dream that

Title or Location: Lucky 13
"Lucky 13" abstract painting I used oil paints and silver leaf on a 30x60 canvas and I used a pallete knife because I absolutely love textures. Horses are my very first love in my life. I was 8yrs old when I started drawing them. My cousin used to doodle them when she was on the phone. I begged her every time I saw her to teach me how to draw them. It was then I was hooked on art and horses. I got my first horse at age 9 and 3 years ago had to give them up due to health. It's been an emotiona

20x24 mixed media on canvasI knew for two weeks before hand that I wanted to try a cityscape with a crow in it while utilizing texture paste and acrylic ink, to add to my new decor. I was experiencing sadness of loss one day and just had to paint. My mood is definitely reflected in this despite my original intentions. I added the old pocket watch in the crows mouth for the illustration of the stolen time.

Title or Location: Sunset at Boukari Harbour, Corfu
I started painting 6 years ago after attending a paint night at a local bar (just for fun) in Vancouver, Canada, where I had been living. I was addicted! Youtube videos have been a great way to learn and grow. The journey has been frustrating at times but it has also become my stress relieving activity.I visited Corfu at the beginning of June and loved the sunsets at this location in the South East of the Island. When I look at skies, clouds , water etc I am always imagining how to paint them

Part of an unreal series from the land of dead birds exploring human extinction. The Unreal series are inspired by the bleak landscapes of Western Australia. In this instance the Blackwood River in Nannup. A poet friend who doesn't want to be named sends me photos she thinks would form a perfect backdrop for the land of dead birds. The birds themselves are Frankenstein compositions all framed by Art Nouveau/Lovecraftian inspired frames. The land of deadbirds is part of a wider exploration of war
